Prior to graduate school, I worked with low-income clients in a financial vocational rehabilitation organization, assisting them in applying for SNAP, utility, and housing benefits. I co-produced the award-winning LISTEN campaign, which provided a platform for dialogue on whiteness, mattering, and belonging.
Following graduation of my Masters, I continued my advocacy work as a Community Engagement Manager at the Pride Foundation. I played a significant role in the repeal of Alaska’s anti-trans Proposition 1 and supported LGBTQIA+ scholars and organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
Over the past few years, I have made New York my home and worked within middle and high school systems as a certified school social worker. I am dedicated to offering support to individuals who share identities similar to mine. In other areas of the East Coast, I've provided vocational rehabilitation services to youth aged 17-26, aiming to bridge the opportunity gap for BIPOC adolescents.
