I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State, Clinical Director and Founder of Inquire Within Therapy Services, and previously was an inpatient Hospital Social Worker in New York Health and Hospital system. I've spent my career working with people in the hardest moments of their lives, and I bring that same steadiness to private practice.
My specialty is trauma. I'm EMDRIA-trained in EMDR and offer it three ways: individual sessions, group EMDR, and EMDR intensives for people who want to move through the work faster than weekly therapy allows. I'm also polyvagal-trained, which means we pay attention to what your nervous system is doing, not just what your thoughts are saying. When it fits, I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to keep the work practical and goal-oriented.
I provide culturally responsive care for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, and I'm poly- and kink-affirming. You won't have to explain or defend your relationships, your identity, or how you live to be taken seriously here.
I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and CPTSD, relationship issues, workplace stress, and identity concerns.
Treatment is built around you, not a template. My job is to create a space where you feel safe enough to do real work, and then to do it alongside you. I'm honored to be part of that process.
